Here at Providence, we believe that being the Church reaches beyond Sunday mornings. For this reason, we have many events and activities to help you remain in community even beyond Sunday morning.

Revive (Open AA Meetings)

Revive is an open AA meeting held every Monday and Wednesday at 7:00pm in the youth loft of Providence CRC. Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our

own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, political group, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, and neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

Karate

Have you ever wanted to try karate but had concerns about the values of the school and the teachers? Providence CRC understands this and offers our community a karate program that provides a safe, nurturing environment for you and your family. Classes held at Providence CRC will be taught in the classic sense, maintaining respect for the traditional techniques, but in an environment intended to develop and nurture self-esteem and personal growth in mind, body and spirit. Additionally, specific self-defense techniques will be taught addressing the capabilities of small children through adults.

Master’s Builders

The purpose of Master’s Builders is to show the love of Christ by assisting someone who has experienced loss through a natural disaster and who has struggled to repair or rebuild their home.

Kids Hope USA

Kids Hope USA (KHUSA) is a church–school relationship that works together to meet the emotional, social, and academic needs of children. Providence CRC partners with Glenwood Elementary, and we’re always looking for mentors and prayer partners!
