Prayer Corner:
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

The verses above are part of a healing prayer journey. Post them in a prominent place so you can read them & meditate on this gift God has given us in Jesus.

WORSHIP
Sunday services are livestreamed on YouTube at 9:30 am.

THIS WEEK
In the morning, Pastor Ken Kuiper will lead us in the preaching of God’s word from Psalm 23.

There will be no evening service.

After the morning service, elders & prayer team members will be available to pray with those who desire it. “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14

Pastor Bob is on vacation through March 6.

NEXT WEEK

In the morning, Pastor Bob returns to lead us in worship & the preaching of God’s word. We will begin a Lenten sermon series called, “Follow Me.”

In the evening, we will resume watching & learning from an episode of The Chosen.

OFFERINGS THIS MONTH
Loose offerings for the month of March will go to Campus Ministry @ GVSU. “Campus Ministry @ GVSU started in 1965 as a partnership between the RCA & CRC. What began as a ministry of one seminary student to college students has transformed into a ministry not just to GVSU students in Allendale, but to college & graduate students in Grand Rapids as well. Campus Ministry in Grand Rapids is a community of Christ followers called to share the whole gospel with our whole campus & whole city. We do this through one-on-one discipleship, weekly house group Bible studies & weekly worship gatherings on Sunday nights called The Well.”

Marissa with Campus Ministry will join us March 12 to share more about this program.

CARE & FELLOWSHIP

MOMS & KIDS OPEN GYM  |  Moms (or parents) with young kiddos, come on out to enjoy some fellowship & let your kids get their wiggles out in the gym here at Providence! Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9:30-10:45 am. Our next time together is this coming Wednesday, March 8. This is open to the public, so invite your friends!

MEN’S OPEN PICKLEBALL  |  Guys, head to the gym every other Wednesday night from 8-10 pm for pickleball! Our next night is this coming Wednesday, March 8. This is open to the public & all skill levels are welcome! Contact the office with questions.

MEN’S BREAKFAST  |  Men from our church meet for breakfast at the Russ’ on Division on the second Thursday of each month. Head to Russ’ this Thursday, March 9, at 8:30 am. All men are welcome!

PROGRESSIVE DINNER, SPRING EDITION!
When: Saturday, March 18
Time: 5-9:30 pm…ish?!?
Where: Various homes… Yours?!?!

We would love to have so many of you participate! This is a perfect way to meet more of your Providence family. We will spend the evening progressing from Appetizers (5 pm), Soup/Salad (6 pm), Main course (7 pm), & Dessert (8 pm). In order for this night to be a success, we need many hosts! Hosting involves having a place for 10-12 people to sit – & not necessarily at a table. Please consider contributing in this way. 🙂 Everyone will be asked to contribute a food item at one of the courses of the night. Hosts generally receive their choice of which leg they choose to host. (The Main course usually consists of a meat choice & a starch (potato or rice). The host usually provides the meat & a guest will typically bring the potato/rice.)

Please sign up via this SignUpGenius link. Contact the office with any questions! We look forward to ‘progressing’ with lots of you!

HELP NEEDED  |  The projection team is looking for another projectionist to either join the full schedule or be available as a backup. If you’re interested in learning more about this, please contact the office.

If you have extra yarn laying around & would like to donate it, Hook, Needles & Yarn can put to it good use by making prayer shawls for those in need. Please contact the office if you have yarn to donate.

REVIVE  |  Open AA meetings are held at 7 pm in the loft on Mondays & Wednesdays. Enter via door B by the gym. Contact Ben Kloosterman at 616-299-6228 for more information.
