Prayer Corner:
“Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, ‘The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin… Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.
Exodus 34:5-7a, 8

WORSHIP
Sunday services are livestreamed on YouTube at 9:30 am.

THIS WEEK
In the morning, we will celebrate God’s love & grace in the Lord’s Supper. We will begin a Lenten sermon series called, “Follow Me.” We will consider the call of Jesus’ first disciples & his call to us today from Mark 1.

In the evening, we will watch the last episode of season 3 of The Chosen called “Sustenance.” If you ever wondered what it might have been like to be at the miracle of the feeding of the 5000, this is your opportunity to see & learn from it.

NEXT WEEK
In the morning, we will continue a Lenten sermon series called, “Follow Me.” We will consider the second part of the call of Jesus’ first disciples & his call to us today.

In the evening, we will begin listening to & discussing a video-based Bible study based on the book Vanishing Grace by Philip Yancey. We will be reminded of the desperate need our world has for grace & how Christians can truly make the gospel good news again in a cynical culture.

OFFERINGS THIS MONTH
Loose offerings for the month of March will go to Campus Ministry @ GVSU, which started in 1965 as a partnership between the RCA & CRC. “What began as a ministry of one seminary student to college students has transformed into a ministry not just to GVSU students in Allendale, but to college & graduate students in Grand Rapids as well. Campus Ministry in Grand Rapids is a community of Christ followers called to share the whole gospel with our whole campus & whole city. We do this through one-on-one discipleship, weekly house group Bible studies & weekly worship gatherings on Sunday nights called The Well.”

Marissa with Campus Ministry will join us March 12 to share more about this program.

CARE & FELLOWSHIP

ADULT PROGRESSIVE DINNER
When: Saturday, March 18
Time: 5-9:30 pm…ish?!?
Where: Various homes… Yours?!?!
We will spend the evening progressing from Appetizers (5 pm), Soup/Salad (6 pm), Main course (7 pm), & Dessert (8 pm). In order for this night to be a success, we need many hosts! Hosting involves having a place for 10-12 people to sit – & not necessarily at a table. Everyone will be asked to contribute a food item at one of the courses of the night. The Main course usually consists of a meat choice & a starch (potato or rice), the host usually provides the meat & a guest will bring the potato/rice.

Please sign up via this SignUpGenius link. Contact the office with any questions! We look forward to ‘progressing’ with lots of you!

Ladies, please join us for a night of crafting & hobbying this Friday, March 17, at 6 pm. Take along your scrapbooking, card making, knitting, etc! Snacks to share are also a great idea. Please enter through the ‘B’ doors by the gym.
