THIS WEEK
In the morning we will celebrate the baptism of Kolby B, the son of former Providence member Melanie B. We will also celebrate the wonder of God’s grace in his gift of the Lord’s Supper. We will continue a series of messages called “Living Wisely,” working through the book of Ecclesiastes. Next week we consider chapter 4 & the Teacher’s wrestling with human misery.
NEXT WEEK
In the morning we will hear the profession of faith of Olivia H. We will continue a series of messages called “Living Wisely,” working through the book of Ecclesiastes. Next week we consider chapter 5 & the Teacher’s call to listen well & speak with caution.
During the summer months, our Sunday evening activities are on the fourth Sunday of each month. We will host praise gatherings of hymns & songs, with ice cream fellowship afterward. The next evening service will take place on July 24.
CARE & FELLOWSHIP
MEN’S BREAKFAST | Men from our church meet for breakfast at Russ’ (on Division) on the second Thursday of each month. Guys: no notice needed, just come to Russ’ this Thursday, July 14, at 8:30 am. All men are welcome!
LADIES’ CRAFT NIGHT | Join us for an evening of crafting this Friday, July 15, at 6 pm. Take along your scrapbooking, card making, or knitting! Snacks to share are also a great idea. Please enter through the ‘B’ doors by the gym.
PLEASE JOIN US | The primary elections are scheduled for Tuesday, August 2. Do you still have your absentee ballot? Are you voting in person? Do you want to discuss the ballot & the privilege of voting? Meet with Dan N & Crys O at 11 am on Sunday, July 24, in the multi-purpose room for a discussion.
PAPER GATOR | Please contribute to the Paper Gator to help our environment & our high school youth group. It’s located in the back corner of our parking lot.
