Prayer Corner
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.” (1 Corinthians 1:5-6)

WORSHIP
Sunday services are livestreamed on YouTube at 9:30 am.

THIS WEEK
In the morning we will give God thanks for all of the ministry that took place this past year through Providence & for the many who worked to make it possible. We will also continue a series of messages called “You Matter,” looking at the story of Mary Magdalene in John 20.

In the evening we will gather as a church family to watch & discuss The Chosen. Episode 7 of season 2, “Reckoning,” reminds us that following Jesus results in conflict as God’s purposes are often so different from our purposes. We are reminded of how we are to respond.

NEXT WEEK
In the morning we will celebrate the Ascension of our Lord with a special service of praise, being reminded from God’s word the difference our Lord’s ascension makes in our lives. Ponder this week, Why does it matter that our Lord ascended into heaven and reigns from the right hand of God? What does that mean for we, his church, who are now called to be his body, his physical presence, here on earth?

In the evening we will gather to pray for our church family & the ministry of Providence.

NURSERY NEWS
It’s time to schedule our volunteers for the 2nd half of 2022! If you’d like to be added to a fantastic team of helpers, you’d be offering a great service to the young parents of our church. Some things to know: You’d be caring for kids ages 0-2.

  • Youths as young as 10 can help out!
  • Adults need to sign Providence’s abuse prevention policy (if not done yet).
  • You can still participate in worship! Services are livestreamed to each nursery room.
  • It’s a great way to make meaningful connections & get to know other members.
