Prayer Corner
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)

WORSHIP
Sunday services are livestreamed on YouTube at 9:30 am.

THIS WEEK
In the morning we will celebrate the glorious wonder of Jesus’ resurrection & all it means! We will consider the glorious end of our Lord‘s prayer, “For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen!”

As we celebrate Easter with loved ones, we will not gather as a church family in the evening.

NEXT WEEK
In the morning we will begin a new series of messages called “You Matter!” We will look at some of the women of the Bible who from the world’s perspective didn’t matter. But God sees them & us totally differently than the world does. Next week we will consider Hagar.

In the evening we will gather as a church family to pray for our church & its ministry in the fellowship hall.  Come & join in the opportunity to pray first & pray often.

DISCIPLESHIP

Men’s Study & Prayer Time meets every Wednesday at 7 am in the multipurpose room. We read & discuss a chapter of a book together & then end in prayer. We are done at 8 am. Any man can join us!

The Cadets thank everyone for their continued support through pop can donations! As a reminder, we have a convenient donation box next to the Paper Gator in our back parking lot & accept all MI returnable bottles/cans. Or, if you have a large amount to donate but prefer someone pick them up, connect with Jeremy Vander Vennen.

CARE & FELLOWSHIP

“The Zomerlei family would like to thank the congregation for the thoughts, prayers, cards & visits after the passing of Sue’s father. It was truly a blessing.” ~Joe & Sue

Ladies, please join us for a night of crafting this Friday, April 22, at 6 pm. Take along your scrapbooking, card making, or knitting! Snacks to share are also a great idea. Please enter through the ‘B’ doors by the gym.

A reminder from the Deacons & Accountant that the current budget year-end is April 30. All giving & receipts for the current budget year should be turned in by April 24. Any reimbursement requests for expenses incurred during the current budget year should be turned into the appropriate director for approval by April 30.

SAM’S 5TH ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE
The first Monday in May is approaching & that means it’s time for Sam’s 5th Annual Blood Drive! On May 2, from 2-8 pm, we will be working with Versiti Blood Centers to help make our church & community an actual “Life Saving Station.” With rapid sickness affecting so many people, blood supplies are on a day-to-day basis. It takes every able-bodied individual capable of giving blood to step into the gap to be a life changer & life saver. Would you like to know more? Connect with the office (office@providence-crc.org or 616-698-7930) for more info,  or visit www.versiti.org. Donations are preferred by appointment but walk-ins are welcome. Choose your time & schedule your appointment online. If we fill up all the slots, DON’T PANIC! That just means Versiti will need to schedule more staff to open up more seats! They LOVE IT when this happens. Every pint of blood helps to save three lives & the whole process usually takes less than 45 minutes.

REVIVE
Open AA meetings are held at 7 pm in the loft on Mondays & Wednesdays. Enter via door B by the gym & contact Steve Huizinga with any questions (616-299-8809).

Legacy Christian’s Annual Auction is happening on Saturday, April 30! It will be held at our West Campus (67 68th Street SW). Doors open & the silent auction will begin at 5 pm. Dinner, catered by Enza’s, will begin at 5:30 pm. The live auction will begin at 7 pm. Come out for a night of fun & support Legacy Christian School!
